Epilobio is a small flowering herb that grows wild in Asia, Europe and South America. It is an herb that grows quickly from its seeds and is considered a parasite. It is a vigorous plant, reaching 60 cm.
It has thin green, lanceolate leaves with wavy edges. It produces a small pink or white flower with four petals. There are several varieties of the herb, but the ones that have the healing properties are the varieties that produce very small flowers. Its flowers open from June to September and this is the season when we collect it.
Keep in a cool and dark place.
Heat water until boiling, add the quantity of the herbal you want. When the temperature starts cool and shrink the mixture and add the sweetener you prefer. Mix and it is ready. It is consumed hot and cold as well.
