. Lauretana water comes from the hydrogeological area of Monte Rosa glacier, 4.600 meters high dominating the border between Italy and Switzerland, it is situated in an unpolluted area more than 1000 meters above sea level, without any industrial and agricultural settlements.

. Before seeing the light it flows underground, very deeply, passing through an ancient granite bed which protects all its organoleptic qualities, maintaining it microbiologically pure. The granite rocks do not release mineral salts so that they determine in this way the low fixed residue (14 mg/l) which gives Lauretana its undisputed lightness.

. 14 mg/l of fixed residue. Thanks to this value it is the lightest water in Europe! A low fixed residue facilitates a high diuresis, helping our body eliminate the residues of metabolism as urea and creatinine.

. Its hardness is only 0,40, a very low value indicating a very small presence of salts in the water, as calcium and magnesium. This means that Lauretana water belongs to the so-called “sweet“ waters and its consumption is ideal to prevent kidney stones.

It is a water of great purity, the source, situated at high altitude, is fed by glaciers, therefore far from dumps, industrial plants, livestock farming or other sources of pollution, both chemical or of other sources, thus permitting to have a water free from nitrates and contaminants so that it is not necessary to treat or filter it.

. It is a low sodium water (only 0.90 mg/l) and therefore ideal for low sodium diets. Moreover, it stimulates diuresis and at the same time helps hydration.

. It is indicated for the new mothers and their children for its extraordinary purity. Real water of well-being, it accompanies the little ones during their first steps towards autonomy already in the phase of weaning. Moreover, in case breast feeding is not possible, Lauretana water is also indicated for the dilution of powdered milk.
