Gelatin is a product of animal origin produced from the pure skin of pigs. Gelatin belongs to the coagulants. We can use it in cooking as well as in confectionery to thicken watery mixtures such as creams, sauces and fruit jellies. Gelatin is a useful product of excellent quality for improving health, especially in the joints, the elasticity of tendons and ligaments, and the growth and structure of hair and nails.
Keep in a cool and dry place.
Add 20g gelatin in 500ml water cold of hot and heat the mixture while mixing with a wooden spoon until the mixture is dissolved without being boiled. Leave in a cool place for a whole night and then the liquid will become gel.
Unsuitable for use with pineapple, kiwi and raw papaya.
