Vegan Melomakarona

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Soak the dates in warm water for 1 hour.
  2. Place the walnut pieces, rolled oats, and spices in a blender. Once the mixture is ready, set it aside.
  3. Then, add the orange zest, drained dates, and orange juice into the blender. Blend until everything is smooth and forms a paste.
  4. Add the oat mixture and stir until well combined.
  5. Remove the mixture and shape it into melomakarona (Greek honey cookies).
  6. Sprinkle with crushed walnuts.
