Spaghetti with Tuna and Tomato Sauce

Spaghetti with Tuna and Tomato Sauce

Ingredients:

250g organic Girolomoni whole wheat spaghetti
340g white tuna in sunflower oil Alonissiotissa
400g Green Village organic chopped tomato
1 organic dry onion (chopped)
1 clove organic garlic (chopped)
3-4 tbsp. organic extra virgin olive oil
salt and pepper
organic fresh basil (for serving)
organic grated parmesan (optional)

 

Preparation:

  1. Boil the Girolomoni spaghetti in salted water until al dente.
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté chopped onion and garlic until soft.
  3. Add the Green Village tomato and cook for 10 minutes, adding salt and pepper.
  4. Drain the tuna and add it to the sauce, stirring for 2-3 minutes.
  5. When the spaghetti is ready, drain and mix with the sauce.
  6. Serve with fresh basil and grated parmesan, if desired!
