Blueberry is one of the fruits of the forest.

It is a perennial shrub-like, deciduous plant that in autumn takes on beautiful and bright purple shades. It blooms from March to May with white bell-shaped flowers. It produces from May to August fruits, with a slight sour taste.

It has a small endosperm (pit). The small size of the pit makes it "invisible" when you try it.  Once cut, it can be kept for up to two weeks in home maintenance conditions. It is made amazingly in jams and various other pastry creations.

 Blueberry is often referred to by many experts as the miraculous plant of youth. It is rich in antioxidant vitamins A, C, E and B-carotene, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, mineral acids, mineral salts, pectin and fiber.
